A slide show shot in New York in 1980 when subbing Vivienne Dicks apartment on 9th and 1st and later working in Tin Pan Alley and sharing an apartment with Nan Goldin. Inspired by both these women and the music and art movement in East Village at the time I made my first work, New York 81 on my return to Dublin.
